Tryouts
Dates and times are listed below.
Any player from any school is eligible to tryout for the Sentry program. We are a very competitive select program and recommend that you try out if you consider yourself one of the best players in your grade. We also have developmental teams so please do not feel intimidated, but understand that we expect the best players from every team in the area to compete for a spot. Our teams are for serious players only!
Sentry Tryouts will take place September 8th - 9th and will be held at Southwest Fields. Two tryouts sessions are held for each team and we strongly encourage players to attend both sessions.
Players will tryout for the team that corresponds with their grade level.
Players will be evaluated based on stick work, athleticism, over all skill and coach-ability. Sentry will select teams and make offers within 3 days of tryouts. Players will then have 24 hours to accept or decline before your spot is filled. Please understand that the teams will be extremely competitive this year and not everyone will have a spot.
Last year we had over 300 players register for tryouts and we expect close to 500 this year. Please make sure your are skills are sharp and you are focused and ready to play. Once the players make the team, they will be given a wall ball test they must complete in order to begin practicing with the team. The test will be even more complex than last year and will require lots of practice.
Blue Chip Tryouts
After the Sentry teams are formed, we will have an “invitational only” tryout for the Blue Chip teams in October.

Cost: $50 Tryout Fee (This is not included in the Sentry Annual Fee)
